Good Old Boat Magazine Visit to MTLSA - May 10 & 11

The founders and editors of Good Old Boat magazine, Karen Larson and Jerry Powlas will be tentatively visiting MTLSA over the weekend of May 10 & 11.
Karen and Jerry are from the Twin Cities area of Minnesota and sail their C&C Mystic (A Dei Gratia clone) on Lake Superior. Their purpose in visiting is to do a feature article on the Tartan 37 and on our boat High Porpoise in particular. We have gotten to know them over the years through our participation in the Good Old Boat Regatta out in Annapolis, and having sailors in the heartland fascinates them.
We hope to be able to show them what we have here at Mark Twain Lake - we hope as many of you as possible can be around that weekend. We'd like the article to be as much about MTLSA and our 20th year as anything else!
We encourage anyone who does not yet receive Good Old Boat magazine to check it out at www.goodoldboat.com. It's a lot more oriented to what we do than the bigger, flashier publications. If everyone subscribes, you'll already know a lot about Karen & Jerry before they get here!
