Welcome Aboard!
The Mark Twain Lake Sailing Association offers a hearty welcome to all who come to Mark Twain Lake in search of sailing adventure. MTLSA's purpose is to promote seamanship, education, and boating safety to boaters of all types. Mark Twain Lake is located in the northeastern corner of Missouri about 30 miles west of Hannibal, Mo., the boyhood home of Samuel Clemens (a.k.a. Mark Twain). Headquarters to MTLSA is Blackjack Marina located at the Ray Behrens Recreation Area just a half mile from Cannon Dam on Route J. Join us on Saturday, Sept. 4 for the "Just Say No Labor" Day Raft-Up for an evening of relaxation, refreshments and a pass-a-plate dinner. The Raft-Up will be in Ski Cove, which is to the west (or left) of Spalding Beach. Anchor boats will set their hooks around 4 p.m. on Saturday. Everyone is invited to come after that time and set hooks and tie up to the rest of the fleet. We encourage everyone to pass a dish beginning around 6:00 p.m. Bring whatever you like - appetizers, salads, main dishes, desserts, whatever - remember this is a NO LABOR Day experience.
MTLSA supports the Wear-It Campaign Always wear your life jacket!
