At the boat on Saturday. The wind was up but the docks look like they are almost done. All boats looked good. Hope to see you all on the weekend of the 14th at the Junction.

Hi sailors!
What a great day to be at the lake. I wish we had left a sail on Dragonfly. The electrician was there and reported the electricity on all the docks was turned on. He still had some repairs on "A" dock. Sure enough, the electricity was on at D'fly. The walkway repairs are almost complete. "A" dock appeared to be all that was left. I'll post a few pictures on the Picasa page later tonight or tomorrow. Picasa Link
I walked all the docks and all boats were floating and all tarps seemed to be in place. The boats on trailers in the upper lot also appeared to be OK.
Hope to sea you at the planning meeting.

I visited my boat at the marina this afternoon.
They have been working on the docks and the electric cables are cut in various places. No electric to "A" Dock.
Not sure about the other fingers but my guess would be no electric also. Some of the dock planking has be removed in front of the marina building and a section of the electrical conduit and wiring has been cut.
I haven't seen any memos or notices about this issue. My main concern is the length of time we'll be without electric power.
Not sure how many of you use full time battery charges, heaters or fans throughout the winter months.
Merry Christmas everyone and have a happy new year.
Denny
I was there as well. All of the docks north of the office building are out. Houseboat finger included. From the looks of the quality of work, I would agree with Denny, it may be a while before service returns. Good news is they are repairing some of the damage from 6 months ago. Shell
